Distillate

Can be defined as a fermented mash with an alcohol volume of not less than 35.7% obtained by the distillation with still, using different raw materials: cereals, potatoes, sugar cane, wine, wine, fruit, etc. In preparation there is no add of sugar.

Thus we have from grain Vodka and Whisky, from sugar cane Rum, from wine Brandy, from marc Grappa, from cherries Kirsch, from cider Calvados and so on.
