Ramos Fizz Vintage

2 oz  Playmouth Gin

1 egg white

½ oz simple syrup

½ oz lemon juice

1 oz cream

3 drop orange flower water

Fill soda water


Pour all ingredients into a shaker and mix strongly performing a Dry Shake, so the ingredients that need to store air, like cream and egg, become whipped, creating the characteristic texture of the Ramos Fizz. Then you have to add ice to complete the preparation with a technique Shake & Strain. Serve Straight Up in a glass with a capacity equal to a Rock Medium.

Drink invented in 1888 in New Orleans by Henry Ramos for his bar. Initially, it was simply called New Orleans Fizz.
