Ginger Mojito

1 ¼ oz White Rum 

½ Lime

3 Ginger leaves

2 Ts Brown Sugar

3 Mint sprigs

Top Ginger Ale

 

Method of mixing Muddle into a Juice Rock glass or High Ball Rock glass. Muddle the lime with brown sugar until you obtain a pulp; add ginger and mint by pressing them gently into the glass; pour the rum after filling the glass with ice (preferably crushed); mix the ingredients (using a shaker or a bar spoon) and add the top of ginger ale. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge/wheel.

Variation of the classical Mojito cocktail with the addition of ginger in the muddled base and a top ginger ale. This Rum based drink is particularly ideal with Asian cuisine and sushi in a special way.
