Fernet

Aromatic and bitter liquor made ​​with more than 40 herbs and spices, including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom and saffron, macerated in alcohol of wine origin. According to tradition, Fernet derives from the Milanese phrase  "fer net", ie clean iron, from red-hot iron plate that was used in the preparation of the liquor. It has an alcohol volume of up to 45%.
