Mojito

1 ¼ oz White Rum

½ Lime

4 Ts Brown Sugar

3 Mint sprigs

Top Soda

 

Method of mixing Muddle into a Juice Rock glass or High Ball Rock glass. Muddle the lime with brown sugar until you obtain a pulp; add the mint by pressing it gently into the glass; pour the rum after filling the glass with ice (preferably crushed); mix the ingredients (using a shaker or a bar spoon), and add the top of sparkling water or soda water. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge/wheel.

Mojito became one of the most famous cocktails in the world since the writer Ernest Hemingway tried it for the first time in the Bodeguita del Medio in Cuba, and wrote about the afternoons spent sipping this bittersweet and refreshing drink.
