Johnnie Walker

Manufacturer of blended Scotch Whisky. Its story begins in 1819, when John Walker bought a small grocery shop in Kilmarnock. This boy of just 14 years proved to be a good entrepreneur and, among many other offers, began also to trade his own Whisky. In 1837 Elizabeth Purvis gave birth to his first child, Alexander Walker, who at age 20 succeeded his father in running the activity. In 1877 he transformed the John Walker & Sons in an internationally renowned company recording the brand. The product range consists of: Red Label, Black Label, Green Label, Gold Label and Blue Label.
